What contractors ask before they sign up.

Do I need to set up a texting account anywhere?+
No. We provision a real local number for your trade and city automatically. The text comes from a local number, not a short code, so deliverability stays clean.
What if I don't want the auto-text to fire?+
Toggle it off in Settings. The email and dispatch push still fire; just the text skips. You can also customise the text wording per trade.
Can I reply to the text thread directly?+
Yes. Replies route back to your phone through the same local number — homeowner sees one continuous thread with you.
What about TCPA / CASL compliance?+
The text is a transactional reply to a form the homeowner just submitted, which is the textbook compliant case under both TCPA (US) and CASL (Canada). We don't send marketing texts; only the immediate auto-reply and any threads you start by hand.
How fast is 'fast'?+
Usually 2–3 seconds from form submit to the text landing on the homeowner's phone. Worst case around 8 seconds, and that's the cell carrier's delay, not us.
